Re: mark 1 v mark 2 - darrsi - 13-08-15 People rarely convert for the fun of it, it's probably been dropped. Exhaust will no doubt need replacing soon, plus it was a '99, so better can be had elsewhere. Re: mark 1 v mark 2 - noggythenog - 13-08-15 Boxeyes are best.......becuase they were the original and the most iconic looking. Imo...all of the other fazers should have stuck with the boxeye design (but lights that worked) A boxeye thou would be the businness 8) Re: mark 1 v mark 2 - stevierst - 14-08-15 And you can modify the original tank easily to fit the extra 2 litres in if you really need to. Done it on 2 of my old bikes with no problems. Re: mark 1 v mark 2 - Dave48 - 14-08-15 i would go for the latest bike you can afford (02-03) so that will be a "Foxeye" then. Be aware of the common issues that can affect all Fazers esp corrosion of header pipes, collector box, exhaust studs & nuts, front sprocket nut issue(not all owners have had trouble but best check 12mm nut conversion done). You could have had one like mine back in April which was "immaculate". Reds Rule! :lol Cant download pic but look at my album in media Good luck with search. Take your time- there are some really good ones out there also some right old nails :eek |
