That doesn't figure as your using two different measurements :eek 250mi= 402.3360km Re: How far can you go? - stevie-g1968 - 16-06-15 Mine has the 22ltr tank and to be honest im not that anal about mpg, I just tend the fill up around the 180 mile mark and brim the tank.... maybe I should push it ...just to see like. Then I can be as my signature suggests.... :rolleyes :lol Re: How far can you go? - sinto607276 - 16-06-15 (16-06-15, 11:10 PM)Frosties link Wrote:
That's the problem :lol You should keep it to 89 :rolleyes then you'd get about 220 :rollin
89mph :eek I'd have to drop to 5th :lol
:rollin :rollin Re: How far can you go? - sinto607276 - 16-06-15 (16-06-15, 11:12 PM)stevie-g1968 link Wrote: to be honest im not that anal about mpg:agree Re: How far can you go? - Freza - 16-06-15 (16-06-15, 11:10 PM)sinto link Wrote:
I wouldn't say anything is wrong, why do you think so? Your speedo might be showing kms but your odometer could be showing miles ![]() Re: How far can you go? - paulchucky - 17-06-15 wow theres some big milage figure getting tossed around can only assume that you all still have the restrictor fitted or T P S angle :lol Re: How far can you go? - Freza - 17-06-15 (16-06-15, 11:30 PM)sinto link Wrote: Are you sure your in kms? Steady cruise up the motorway at something approaching the speed limit. Although I'm not saying which side of the speed limit I'm approaching :lol Re: How far can you go? - Robbie8666 - 18-06-15 I'm going home to Cornwall on mine Friday & going to try a different approach and fill it to the brim from petrol station 1/2 mile from work (Basingstoke) then see how close to Falmouth I get before the light comes on. So 225 on 22 litres? You'll piss it, just have faith in your bike Rob Re: How far can you go? - Robbie8666 - 18-06-15 (18-06-15, 01:19 PM)Frosties link Wrote:
So 225 on 22 litres? On an 01. It certainly seems that anyone else I ride with is the first to stop for fuel. Re: How far can you go? - philthefaazer - 21-06-15 I'm wondering if there is something wrong with my 01 (Y) FZS I picked up a couple of weekends ago. I have a short commute of 6-7 miles each way which obviously won't help but the light comes on at 105 miles, however I can only squeeze maximum 11l back in, which based on this thread means I still have another 9 litres left?! Re: How far can you go? - Jules-C - 21-06-15 You should do. Do you fill up when the light comes on? I normally do about 30 miles after light comes on and still only get 15 litres in. Re: How far can you go? - philthefaazer - 21-06-15 My early experiences on an RS125 with a dodgy fuel gauge, therefore frequent embarrassing breakdowns, taught me to be religiously devout to obeying the mileometer! I got similar mileage from my GSX600F so am used to it and driving a modern diesel car, where the consequences are a bit worse if you run out, I struggle to ignore the light Re: How far can you go? - Frosties - 21-06-15 (18-06-15, 02:38 PM)Robbie8666 link Wrote:
So 225 on 22 litres?
