You have a good day ? [/quote] What an incredible track, definitely do that one again! Clutch was slipping under heavy load and was getting nailed on the straights as I was expecting anyway but then getting held up on the corners which was frustrating! Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - anutz - 22-06-15 Never done a track day - i live near croft circuit so hopefully one day when i get the bike back on the road i will get over there.... Are there any special considerations, aside from making sure the bike works and you are i exepct in full leathers? Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - Punkstig - 22-06-15 Just had email from focused events, it was a 'chrono' day which means you have a tracker fitted to your bike and lap times are emailed after the event, my quickest time was 2.06.6 which tbh I'm happy with for my first time round and with clutch slip but know I could go quicker! It's quite amazing the amount of people that turn up with track only bikes these days! Iv been and watched a few track days in the last year and I thought the same. IF .. I ever go on a track day I was just gonna go on my bike and buy some new tyres at end of day. But seeing everyone turn up on track only bikes and looking like pro's made me re think! Lol Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - Punkstig - 22-06-15 Nah, don't let it bother you, a lot of them are all the gear no idea - focused events do hold Road bike only days occasionally! Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - mr wayneker - 22-06-15 bought her some new brake and clutch levers red and black from hong kong...and a blanket(cover) and a second hand exhaust.....cause I can....(but don't tell the Mrs)...ssssshhhhhhh I will just say someone gave them to me :rollin Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - Nebuchernezzer - 23-06-15 Girlfriend got me some heated grips. Install was easy peasy, got some pretty neat wire routing going on (with all the plugs ending up just in front of the relay box or whatever it is under the tank). Tried them today, great for this bitterly cold 12 degree Australian mornings! :rollin But no i did need them, hands got pretty hurty going 110km/h down the freeway to a site visit a few weeks ago! It wasn't 12 degrees that day and the wind chill is nasty! ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - odbguy - 23-06-15 Very good Nebuchernezzer I need some heated grips myself. When you decide to get the fairing on? Nowt wrong with a bit of luxury. ![]() Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - paulchucky - 01-07-15 ridden for years through allsorts weather even on my dirt bike trai riding through all weathers and never used them ? maybe i`ll try them now i`m "getting on a bit" :lol :lol :lol Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - TomS_ - 18-07-15 Hey everyone, new member, new rider, and first time Fazer FZS600 (52 reg) owner as of about a week ago in London UK. Loving it so far! I did all of my training and tests on a Fazer and loved it so much I decided it would be my first bike. It's generally in mint condition, but a friend following me today mentioned that only half of the tail light was illuminating, so I went digging and found that one of the bulb holders was not seated and the bulb had smashed. I also managed to pop a fuse while playing around with that, so today I fixed that up. Nothing special but all important. ![]() Otherwise I spent some time getting familiar with the various reservoir locations and fluid levels for my regular checks.
