Adjust it a bit more and you may find the misterious 7th...

When I took mine off to polish I put my own mark on with a pen. I did see that it sort of lined up with the gap but did not know that was the official set up. I thought that you could position it where you was comfy and liked it within reason. Obliviously not then unless you don't want 6th.

Im the same as you, i thought i could just adjust it however.


Back to the drawing board for me.


Red....cheers......but i think you'll find with my average of 26.2mph im considerably quicker than you :lol

anyway, back to GEARS....I think its common pratice on most bikes to have the shaft marked for gearlever position....

Always a mark on the shaft, but some have a marks on the lever side also.

You may have to venture to the mythical Forbidden Kingdom to find the 7th Gear.
