That's a good idea as some of them are constantly working, even with the motor off and can drain your battery if you don't use your bike regularly.

So you introduce 'something else to go wrong' take some of the feel of feeding the clutch in on corner exits away and for what? oh yeah a sound that anyone can replicate by changing gear clutchlessly yeah I had better rush out and get one...doi they do a quick braker and a quick refueller too?

suppose it depends on the riding style Mac, maybe for you that's not a requirement but I personally will always be in the gear before the corner.

maybe an age thing too, you know us young uns want all the tech whether we know how to use it or actually need it is another thing, all the gear, no idea Wink but perhaps it's much like the ABS question.

Re: Quickshifters !!! - unfazed - 14-12-14

Is there a major advantage for having one on a road bike or have I missed something here. :eek

I can see the advantage on a race bike or a track day bike, but for a normal everyday use bike.  :rolleyes

I have ridden a few bikes with them and did not see any major advantage on a normal road going bike other than reducing the cash in my pocket :lol

[/quote] Ahhh the joy which is hurling an FZS into a sweeping bend popping on the over run and booting it out again upshifting still banked and feeding the clutch to keep the front weighted ..each to their own
