I was 16 , after a bike ride one day , I noticed a pain below which got progressively worse , my gonads were in agony , I went into shock with the pain , dad took me to the doctors , got rushed into hospital told by the doctor that it is quite common in British men due to a genetic flaw , result was an emergency op , which involved having the scrotum cut open , the testicles untwisted then sewn to the sack to stop them twisting again , if I would have left it much longer , I would have got gangrene due to lack of oxygen to the testicles .
