Firstly, welcome Mav121! Yes, they look good and nicely colour coordinated too btw. Bit worried about switching to short levers, not sure if I'd like it to be honest. Looking forward to trying them out though.

Fizzy how are you getting on with these levers, re the clutch switch?.

I really really really need some new levers now, they cant take any more impacts.these ones seem the only option at a sensible price & they do look the part.

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - noggythenog - 23-08-13

Well ive just sent them a message asking if they have any of the Blue ones & can i have the same price as the gold.

Ive also asked how they'll package them so hopefully ill get some Blue ones soon enough. 8)

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - noggythenog - 24-08-13

Finally ordered some for my now soon to be mad max fazer.
annoyingly only gold ones available at much much cheapness, but they told me they could do Blue but there was no way i could figure out to buy blue ones on ebay so ive bought the black ones with a message to them explaining that i want Blue not black.

i also explained that since they were close to 20 gbp can they mark as such and i suggested they were a gift, a gift from me to my myself no less! :b .

so basically now im playing the will i get customs raped waiting game

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - noggythenog - 24-08-13

Oh foc fuzzy so i just ordered too soon before you did your post,

This shit is too complicated,

So ive really got to stress to them now to put gift on the packet or im focced!, can you pull out of an ebay buy in such a case because im getting to the stage where ill just blow my dosh on some Titax & not worry about this customs nonsense.

Fingers crossed

I'm in the same boat as you noggythenog. Have a feeling I'm going to be focced over by TNT, not looking forward to it!

I bought a pair of the shorty cnc levers from China as well, great fit and work fine but...

.. got a letter from TNT wanting £20 - is it a case of cough-up the dosh? (not wanting to thread hijack though so can start another if required)

Out of interest did you ask them to mark it as a gift or anything, i reckon tnt are wise to these chinese sellers by the sounds of things???

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - noggythenog - 24-08-13

Well looks like ive focced up big time then, my levers came to about £46 & i was asking them to value at £20 so ill need to try cancel the whole order or something but i dont have a clue how to do that either :'(

I could end up paying about 90 quid for what looked a bargain.

Ill message the guy again & see what they say.

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - noggythenog - 25-08-13

Yep ive told them now i want a refund unless it is less than £15 & marked as a gift.

Its a bit unfair really, you can buy a plasma tv dirt cheap, which comes from china.or a whole 125 motorbike for £700 but when you're forced to buy some little levers because hardly anyone in the EU makes any then you have to bend over.

Ah well i hope they come back with some good news.

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - tkwish - 25-08-13

Also remember if it's marked as a sample it is exempt from the 15 quid rule so make sure they don't Mark it as a sample

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - noggythenog - 27-08-13

Just confirming that some shiny Blue ones are on their way to me.

Cant wait. 8)

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - noggythenog - 27-08-13

Well yeah i basically moaned my arse off & they agreed that the real value was about $20 so that will be marked.

They wouldnt put gift as that was against the rules.

Fair play though their customer service is excellent, they get straight back to you.

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - mtread - 27-08-13

TNT try it on every time, even when the value is clearly under £15. Nice little illegal profit for them. How many people who are unaware of the rules just pay up? See my reply at http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,8866.msg88314.html#msg88314 They never even bothered to reply. Just don't pay it.
As to the clutch switch, yes they seem to make the plate a big bigger, so it doesn't cut in. If so, just clip a little bit off the switch plunger with some pincers. About 2mm at a time until the plunger comes out far enough to allow a start.

I can't stand clutch switches and have cut them off every bike I've had!

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - mtread - 27-08-13

Go on, give it a go. And don't forget to charge them a fee for charging the admin fee  :lol

+1...I use the clutch on every start anyway, that switch ain't the boss of me!

Re: Anyone fitted CNC shorty levers to their fzs600? - Fuzzy - 28-08-13

My silver pair came yesterday, managed to avoid any customs as marked as $20.

Look great, fit great, adjust great, quality is great BUT I just can't get on with short levers :\ . Tried the clutch lever for a short ride today but took it off afterwards. Didn't bother fitting the brake lever as I know I won't get on with it.

Anybody clever know if any compatible long levers are available to swap in? Btw I asked the seller regarding long levers and they didn't have them, nobody does for the Fazer as far as I'm aware  :'( (apart from the pricey ones obviously).

Alternatively, if anybody is interested in a pair of silver cnc levers, pm me!
