Re: Time for new mobile phone contract - DILLIGAFF - 22-05-13 Take a look at Carphone Wharehouse. They have monthly deals starting with a free Galaxy Ace @ just £7.50/mth ?? Re: Time for new mobile phone contract - goldfazer - 22-05-13 Call Vodafone and tell em what you want. You'll usually get a fair bit better deal than originally offered. Re: Time for new mobile phone contract - Jacko - 22-05-13 I have the Ace2 with T Mobile for £10.50 a month with half a gig. Tidy little phone. jellybean upgrade due soon. My Boy has the Desire C with Tesco, Tesco one of the few where you can cap usage so there's no overspend. (useful as he's just 11) Re: Time for new mobile phone contract - Andy Clap - 28-05-13 (21-05-13, 08:27 AM)bigfootpete link Wrote: If you don't make many calls or texts' then try Ovivo.com, they have a sim only deal 150mins, 250 texts and 500mb of data. You pay a one off £15 for the sim and n o t h i n g else. Signed up with Ovivo last Wednesday and just had to chase the SIM: "Hi Andy,Apologies for the delay. A SIM was dispatched, but it looks like that it has been lost in transit. A replacement will be sent today and confirmation e-mail will be sent to you upon dispatch. Many thanks," Smells of bullsh1t, but for £15 I'll give them a go for a while. Still nervy about porting my number to them though! Re: Time for new mobile phone contract - His Dudeness - 28-05-13 I'd be in a similar position to andy. But im debating whether to get a phone with a 1gig limit or pay twice the price and get an ulimited internet connection for a laptop. On average I'd probably do a bit of browsing and look at a few youtube videos in a day. Would 1gig cover that or does youtube use alot? Re: Time for new mobile phone contract - Dead Eye - 29-05-13 At standard definitions I'd suggest an estimate of about 1MB per minute of video - HD quality will obviously be more Plenty of apps about to keep track of your usage throughout the month though. I use one called "My Data Manager" by Mobidia Technology Re: Time for new mobile phone contract - His Dudeness - 29-05-13 Ok thanks. I'll probably go for the phone then. |
