You really need to. Tis great. Try Cradar too. Re: Riding App - nsr500v4 - 27-04-13 The real rider app for Android is live, just downloaded mine, playtime! Re: Riding App - dBfazer600 - 27-04-13 Does anyone know if the google earth app can be played on PC and if so how? As dead eye I is always exploring and have been geographically challenged at times in some real nice places. Download and install the Google earth app (search in Google) and you'll be able to export the routes you've travelled either via the sd card or Google drive. GOogle earth exists for ios and Android too. Re: Riding App - nsr500v4 - 27-04-13 DB i would think you will have to download google earth and your tracks should be able to be viewed that way....... Re: Riding App - dBfazer600 - 27-04-13 Yes I already have google earth on my phone but would like to have it on my PC so I could view my tracks data on PC as the two apps drain my battery Daz Re: Riding App - nsr500v4 - 27-04-13 Just download google earth onto pc and transfer the tracks to your pc and open then and it should all work together Re: Riding App - simonm - 27-04-13 https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/earth/index.html In My tracks you need to "save to external storage" (as KML) (then transfer via usb) or share privately via email (top right share icon) or send to google drive (top right, but in one, triangle shape). I have no idea how to get it to play the same as it does in Android though. I had down loaded this a couple of days ago and I just right click on the file then chose "open with" This is where google earth icon is: https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=wise&passive=1209600&continue=https://drive.google.com/?tab%3Dlo%23&followup=https://drive.google.com/?tab%3Dlo<mpl=drive Just need to try and get it to play now Thanks Daz Re: Riding App - dBfazer600 - 27-04-13 In the left hand colom just above Earth is a button push that and it plays. I is well impressed. So we need to set up a bourd so we can share run outs as its a fantastic insight. Daz Re: Riding App - simonm - 27-04-13 I got it to play but it doesn't look half as good as on the android phone, It doesn't seem to maintain a zoom on the location afaics. I'm gonna stick to using the S3 and keeping it charged ;-) Re: Riding App - fireblake - 27-04-13 I just downloaded the Android version too. Need to try it soon. Working Sunday so later in the week maybe? Mickey Re: Riding App - dBfazer600 - 27-04-13 I have the galaxy S+ that's running android Ice cream 4.0.4 that I installed on it. Its processore and memory is not up to runing everything at the same time. But never the less I is well impressed. Daz Re: Riding App - nsr500v4 - 29-04-13 Done a quick test with My Tracks on the way home tonight, pretty good, plays well on the phone and laptop......nice! Re: Riding App - simonm - 29-04-13 I wish we could share the results without any ahem issues. |
