Re: Mid Life Crisis? - St.eve - 07-09-13 Hi TC Your story very similar to mine I am 57 in February Had 125s back in the seventy's then 4 years ago brought a Yam YBR125 which was great fun then Last week I brought a 600 Fazer and love it. Also I tend to play a lot of Call of Duty Black ops now is this a mid life crisis or just childish lol good luck with your Bike mate. Steve Re: Mid Life Crisis? - tkwish - 07-09-13 Just short of 60 and married for 40 years started riding around 5 years ago when I lost my job as a hgv driver it seemed like a good way to get some peace and quiet and the groan of the engine sounds Oh so much better Re: Mid Life Crisis? - JZS 600 - 07-09-13 Get out there! Grab life by the balls while you still can! Re: Mid Life Crisis? - jason1 - 07-09-13 Mid life Crisis or not , I rode dirt bikes, well anything that rode down the woods back then . Then onto 50cc, 125 at 16 and 17 , i was then given free car lessons from my uncle (driving instructor) passed then cars all the way . But i always had the itch to get back onto two wheels , money, kids and life got in the way until 4 years ago(age 35) when i just said fuck it and done my test . Must admit took a while to get used to riding again , esp motorways . Used to be so tense , but few months passed and chilled out when riding . Now loving riding whether its just commuting , ride outs , even down the shops . Ride safe and enjoy :evil Re: Mid Life Crisis? - david095 - 07-09-13 I've been going through my mid life crisis since I was 18, still a good excuse 30 years later, now a proud owner of a Fazer 8 ABS and loving it :b |
