Re: headlight bulbs - PaulSmith - 03-09-12 If you are even thinking about HID, then a certain amount of re-wiring is required, mandatory. There is no reason tough why you can't have a HID main beam, and a halogon High beam. With the HID wired to be permantly on (when the engine is running), the flash button and high beam switch would control the high beam bulb only. Simples. And on the subject of rewiring, most if not all hid kits will plug into the existing H4 connector for switching and have a feed straight of the battery (in this config they only come on with Ign on.) Re: headlight bulbs - fireblake - 12-11-12 Does anyone know the law about the use of yellow filters like the French used a few years back? I'm thinking something like these ones might be good for filtering on the motorway? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H4-60W-12V-Hyper-Yellow-UV-Filter-Xenon-HID-Headlight-Light-Bulb-Car-Auto-Truck-/140850765753?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20cb5c1fb9 Re: headlight bulbs - ddtwelve - 23-11-12 try this for a cheap alternative :lol http://www.ebbo.org/headlamp_relays.php |
