Living near Farnborough I occasionally get the Red Arrows over the house as they're re-arranging themselves into a new formation, absolutely thrilling... yet the photo is most unimpressive. :rollin

When I lived nr Bristol years ago I would see the Hercs near the M4. Think they were based @ RAF Lyneham. Last time I saw one flying treetop height was nr Hereford on way to Wales where the SAS train their guys. Most frightening experience-driving down long straight road nr Trawsfynydd in rattle-trap van & being buzzed by RAF fighters from Anglesey. Sounded like the van engine had decided to self-destruct @ max rpm. These guys literally flew up the valley floor-by the time you heard them they were prob home again! :lol

I don't think it is a Herc.I think it could be the Canadian Mini Herc looking plane that is currently at Waddington.

There's been something flying low and fast over me for the last few days. Not yet seen it due to low cloud and its speed as always gone by the time I get to the window.

Reckon it must be air cover practice for the upcoming Olympics where we are assured of a gold medal for the fastest debt.
