Re: tyre pressure - Slaninar - 20-03-12 Pirelli Diablos, for touring (not trackdays): 2.2 bars front (32 psi), 2.5 bars rear (around 36 psi). Best handling. Any harder and tyres become less grippy. That is pressure when tyres are cold, before riding. Re: tyre pressure - Fazer Jake - 20-03-12 Tbh i think its what you get used to, i run 36/42 yes its bumpy as fook but i feel it grips better. & my GF does come on the back sometimes and 32/36 wouldnt work. All personal preference Re: tyre pressure - Oxygen - 22-03-12 Anyone asked the tyre manafacturer as they should know what's best for their tyres. I have just emailed Bridgestone to find out. I am running Front - battalax BT 45F Rear - battalax BT O21R These are what the bike came with. I am not sure if it is so good to use differing tyres ! Re: tyre pressure - chunk166 - 23-03-12 I've run 36/42 on most of the bikes i've had, i'm over 90 kgs its comfortable for me, i have tried lower pressures but it just didn't feel right, but it's all down to personal preference & what your happy with. Ray Re: tyre pressure - JZS 600 - 26-03-12 After a few weeks on 36/42 I went back to 32/36 this morning... Well, the suspension on the bike did feel a bit plusher and perhaps a bit grippier too. Cat's eye's in the middle of the road were dispatched with ease and the bike seemed to track a bit easier changing direction, and I gave it a bit more welly round the bends. This, of course, could also be the result of the warmer dryer weather starting. Re: tyre pressure - pearsonj - 08-10-12 My manual says 2.5 bar front and back for Bridgestones so I let some air out. Not sure what they were at before but the handling was much worse at 2.5 bar so I'll be inflating them a bit more. Re: tyre pressure - Rebuilt - 14-10-12 i yend to do 41 R and 35 F just under the higher recomended levels ... but does`nt it pend on the tyre also ... i went to dunlop as they are th e tyress i got on the bike at mo .. ( what they came with ) |
