Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - robbo - 19-04-20 Only 35 claps until Christmas. :lol Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - Grahamm - 20-04-20 My best friend called me yesterday and said "I have two bits of bad news about your wife." "OK, tell me." "She's cheating on us..." Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - Grahamm - 21-04-20 I cycled down to my local shop to buy a bottle of whisky to keep me going through the lockdown. I then had a horrible thought that if I fell off my bike on the way home I would break the bottle, so I decided it was better that I just drink it all outside the shop before getting back on my bike. Good job I did... I fell off my bike 9 times on the way home! Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - Grahamm - 28-05-20 Just got to get this off my chest.... I'm getting sick and tired of people complaining about the price of things, £2.70 for coffee, £1.00 a biscuit, £4.00 an hour for parking. If I hear any more moaning.. I'm stopping inviting people to my house. Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - Grahamm - 29-05-20 I was crossing the street when I suddenly noticed my ex getting run over by a bus. I thought to myself, "Wow! That could have been me!" Then I remembered I can’t drive a bus... Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - Grahamm - 05-06-20 I went to the optician today because I keep seeing the world fall apart. He said I have 2020 vision. Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - darrsi - 19-06-20 Look what I just saw on The Price Is Right. Anyone on here win/own it? It was on there at £5375. In fact it had some of the biggest prizes ever on there, i can't thing of anything similar right now? On at 5am though, but i'm up early every day so i see it most mornings now. :lol Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - fazersharp - 19-06-20 I thought only the red and black had that scheme and gold was just gold Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - YamFazFan - 19-06-20 I bet that soon cleared the sleep from your eyes when that Fazer appeared on screen :lol Well spotted. Is that the bloke that won it?. Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - Grahamm - 27-07-20 So, who had "Baboons with Chainsaws" in the "What can 2020 throw at us next" Sweepstakes...? Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - Grahamm - 11-08-20 Quote:Maybe you're having a bad day, but I'm pretty sure you're not having a "tell your boss you set off the fire suppression system at the Minnesota National Guard hangar and foamed all 10 aircraft." kinda bad day... Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - BBROWN1664 - 11-08-20 Oops. Open the doors and it will blow away then just rinse the airframes with fresh water and they should be good to go again. Re: Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything - Gnasher - 11-08-20 Not quite that easy. The engines will need to be stripped, flushed and run up as will the electronics systems, some foams turn into a sticky smelly mess although they may not be corrosive, they could react with some materials. They may be no permanent damage but it's certainly not going to be a quick jet wash or hose down, many hours of work me thinks, someones for the high jump especially if it was a prank! It will depend on the foam but in most cases you are correct. there is a newer foam out there that does just require a rinse down but...... A lot of time will be required to inspect the guts of the airframes to make sure no foam got in before any one can sign it off. the engines on those will just need an inspection as the whole thing including intakes and exhaust are above the foamline |
