Noggy - she broke her toe (2 broken actually) while knitting - bloody dangerous hobby that - she jumped up to answer the phone and stepped over the abacus she had in the middle of the floor (uses it to keep track of her lines), stepped a bit too far as she started to lose balance and basically kicked the hard square corner of the sofa leg.
Also Noggy you've got the beer spot on, it is indeed the Bacchus cherry. :thumbup

Spongy rear brake on the 600, bled many times with no improvement so fitted my spare.........no change :o......so iam thinking ive got used to the thous better caliper and thats the best its going to get.......time for an upgrade.thou or trx...ill see whats on evilbay

Not had a chance to get a good run on it yet due to a lot of end of trimester uni work, but more importantly a lot of pissing rain! :lol

After reading about all the foccers above breaking things...body and bike.......i decided to check if the noggythou was still working....plus it needed fuel.....so i did 50 miles round the hills
.Was a bit windy...crosswinds blowing me about.....exhaust makes some lovely pops when slowing down using engine braking......taking a while to get used to the extra weight ...i feel if i leave turning in too late then it might fire me out onto the ditch so i am maybe turning in a bit too early....all good practice & ill get there in time...and i feel slow but when i look at the speedo im going faster than i think.

The roads eventually dried out and the sun came out , so went out on the bike past Longleat via Chewvalley lake , Chelvey Bridge , Newton st Loe , Radstock , Frome, and back home via Bath , did about 80 miles , it was bloody windy .

Went to the start point of the Cancer Charity run, chatting to a few lads and was asked if I was marshaling the Charity run, I said not this time as they seemed to have enough marshals. A few minutes later I was handed a Blood Bike South Reflective Jacket and was told "there you are, your marshaling" Had some good fun around the coast roads of West Cork.
Definitely convinced the standard of car driving has dropped. :'(

Changed spark plugs NGK CR 8E as per manual, found ones fitted were NGK CR8 EIX Ridium. Are they a sporty alternative?
set up to attempt carb balancing.......wow them screws are definitely a ballache. Put that on pause till my trip to screwfix for long screwdriver.

I have always used CR8EIX I find that they last longer and seem to make the engine smoother.
Nothing wrong with the CR8E and many riders would not notice any difference other than the price.

the core on the EIX is needle thin. do they start like that or is it a strange way they wear

Thats the design, they are platinum based to give better spark and durability.

Changed the clutch lever/ cable holder thing from the 600 version back to the 1000 version (last owner changed to bar mounted mirrors) also gave it the dodo juice treatment, I'm also toying with putting the stock can back on as the new Power tech gp can that's on there is a tad to loud for me.....(old age... :lol )

Thought I might get to test my new 2 piece waterproof over suit, heavy rain, got bike out, rain stops. 50 miles later get to work without a single drop of rain. Enter the office, heavy rain starts again
