Damn thing should be framed in the FOC-U hall of fame.
It'll make a great puzzle for archaeologists, if they dig it up in about a thousand year's time - "hmmm, were they going back to horse drawn implements then?"  :lol
[/quote]...Mmmm?..where do you think it should be buried then nick?....york?..or leicester? :rolleyes .....

At least I have the satisfaction of knowing the bugger worked!! It even saved part of the bike - that rear fairing would be completely focced if the bar hadn't been there.

Interested in the mirrors. What condition are they in and how much would you want for the pair posted?

Yes, I do - however, it isn't in perfect condition - the seating for the indicators on the left hand side is broken, so whilst the indicator will hold in OK, it does droop a bit and wobbles.

I resolved the problem by bolting a tail tidy through the original number plate holes. Looks a bit odd, as the stock indicators stick out by about an extra inch, and further back by half an inch. I was thinking of fitting smaller indicators, and trimming the plastic to remove the evidence of the original mounting holes. The tail tidy got a bit bent, but it's very mild steel, so should bend back quite easily. After all, it isn't exactly carrying a huge load!

I'll sell the mudguard with the tail tidy for £40.

I  seem to remember they survived the crash nigh on unscathed. They were in good nick, with the inevitable light scuffs on the front. I'd only just fitted a replacement left myself! I'll part with the pair for £25 (not including postage).

..hi arfa....top picture shows the worst damage / scrapes....glass,joints and threads all good, for speed iam going to guess at postage of £5...hope this helps

Re: Breaking FZS600 for spares - Arfa - 23-09-13

Cool, thanks for digging them out. They're pretty scratched aren't they. You know what, I might have a look around and see if I can find any less scratched. Although if I get desperate, I'll be back in touch. Smile

Re: Breaking FZS600 for spares - BorisTheThird - 24-09-13

that tow bar is far too tempting, though i fear just as a novelty thing.

got any pictures (more out of interest then an actual sale)

any chance of an up to date list of what’s left, i need a bunch load of bits but cant remember what they are

No need to fear - DaleH and I have blazed the trail, and it's a useful commodity!  :lol

Most of the bike is left, see the sold list above for what isn't!

Something I've thought of actually;

I believe you still have the front and rear master cylinders? If so, price please ^^
