full fairing or not? - sinto607276 - 25-03-15 Hi all, thinking of getting a fairing for my bike, just wondered what your thoughts on it are? Was also looking at just the bellypan, but I think it's just for looks, doesn't actually do anything?? Cheers, Colin Re: full fairing or not? - Punkstig - 25-03-15 Partly depends on how many miles you do- those aftermarket fairings can be quite fidly to remove when it comes to oil and filter changes! Re: full fairing or not? - Deefer666 - 25-03-15 and they look shit Re: full fairing or not? - fazersharp - 25-03-15 By full fairing do you mean those extra panels that you stick on the side because they always just look like some extra panels that you have stuck on the side Re: full fairing or not? - sinto607276 - 25-03-15 Yeah, thinking of full fairing, but would get it sprayed properly to match, maybe even the whole bike. I'm more for full fairing for protection of the engine as well as me! Wad also thinking of double bubble screen but some posts I've read say it doesn't make much difference. Re: full fairing or not? - fazersharp - 25-03-15 The engine is meant to be seen, (25-03-15, 08:31 PM)sinto607276 link Wrote: Wad also thinking of double bubble screen but some posts I've read say it doesn't make much difference.I found the DB makes no difference, but it dose look good - unlike the add on side panels cause they always look like add - ons Re: full fairing or not? - noggythenog - 25-03-15 I say no fairing or bellypan on the 600...but double bubble looks good 8) Re: full fairing or not? - johnakay - 25-03-15 just to give you an idea what it may look like my old bike but since sold on. ![]() Re: full fairing or not? - sinto607276 - 25-03-15 (25-03-15, 09:10 PM)johnakay link Wrote: just to give you an idea what it may look like my old bike but since sold on.That too me, looks smart John, and I know others have said no, but I do like the look Re: full fairing or not? - sinto607276 - 25-03-15 Can you remember where you got the fairings from? Re: full fairing or not? - johnakay - 25-03-15 a company in france I think TPS? some one on here will remember. as for others don't take any notice ,its your bike have it how you want. some remove Fazer stickers it does nothing to the look of the bike. I like it and that the way it stayed. every has an ass but not all are the same ![]() if you wanted to hear from an asshole you would have farted. you do what you like mate. Re: full fairing or not? - ChristoT - 25-03-15 That is TPS. It is also expensive as fuck, especially as TPS have gone bust. The only other manufacturer of full panels I know of is Skidmarxx... £150 for a full set.
