Which replacement end can??? - ste131 - 31-01-14 Hi all, Im looking for a replacement end can but finding it hard to decide :\ Price aint an issue but sound it! Standard sounds a little quiet for me, front pipes are standard and in excellent condition so wont be changing them. Oh, needs to have removable baffle ![]() What do you think of Scorpion? Its about the only one that sounds okay but heard it on Youtube :rolleyes Any ideas?? Cheers, Steve. Re: Which replacement end can??? - Gnasher - 31-01-14 Quill oval they fit first time, excellent quality, sound good and a nice couple HP on top. ![]() Re: Which replacement end can??? - stevierst - 31-01-14 Had a scorpion oval titanium on my bandit. Quite loud with no baffle, much better with it in. Re: Which replacement end can??? - Chris - 31-01-14 blueflame all the way! Love mine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipmAnwjKOdM Chris Re: Which replacement end can??? - darrsi - 31-01-14 I have a Quill on my bike, albeit an older one, and I really like it. It has a non offensive deep rumble at low revs, which is great around side streets, but if you give it a bit of welly it soon changes tune. Re: Which replacement end can??? - ste131 - 31-01-14 That Blueflame is just the sound Im looking for! I like the standard look, no stubbys and stainless. Time to search for one :b Thanks guys ![]() Re: Which replacement end can??? - darrsi - 31-01-14 (31-01-14, 09:40 PM)ste131 link Wrote: That Blueflame is just the sound Im looking for! Look up 'darrsi quill' on YouTube. Re: Which replacement end can??? - monkeyrumble - 31-01-14 Fuel oval top quality and a lovely rumble Re: Which replacement end can??? - Chris - 01-02-14 Here's a pic of my bike to show you the general size, slightly shorter than the standard can and much lighter: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=307830&highlight=yamaha+fazer The can is lovely with the baffle in and big grin when it's out! haha I bought it straight from the blueflame website. Chris Re: Which replacement end can??? - pintlicker - 01-02-14 I've got a blueflame oval can. Sounds tasty and looks great on the bike. Re: Which replacement end can??? - ste131 - 01-02-14 Chris, that looks awesome! Re: Which replacement end can??? - Chris - 01-02-14 (01-02-14, 03:22 PM)ste131 link Wrote: Chris, that looks awesome! Thanks ![]() Chris Re: Which replacement end can??? - Deefer666 - 01-02-14 The best end can I ever had on my 600 was an O'Shiro titanium race can, sounded far better than any thing else I tried. Nice deep rumble and bark but at lower revs it gave the bike a nice unoffensive rumble and yet a quick blip of the throttle produced a menacing growl. I think Madmondeoman has it now. Re: Which replacement end can??? - Arfa - 01-02-14 Got the Motad Venom can on mine. Decent enough, nice sound, but with baffle no louder the stock yammy. Even with baffle removed it's only a little bit louder. Certainly won't stand out (or get you any attention from cops). Re: Which replacement end can??? - ste131 - 03-02-14 Its very difficult unless you can hear for yourself. Stock pipe is so smooth and quiet... Opted for the Blue Flame and not bad at 150 delivered. Really appreciate your help! Must Fazers I come across are standard like mine so dont get to hear a decent sounding can! Re: Which replacement end can??? - Chris - 04-02-14 Hope you like it as much as I like mine! 8) Get some pics of it up when you get it fitted. Chris Re: Which replacement end can??? - Derpdiherp - 05-02-14 Do the blue flame exhausts come with a linker pipe or do you have to use the stock one? And what about the hanger for it? My stock one is scratched to hell, time for a replacement. Re: Which replacement end can??? - Chris - 05-02-14 The one I bought from the blueflame website came with a link pipe and the strap hanger from the foot peg. The standard can and link pipe can't be separated. Chris Re: Which replacement end can??? - HarryHornby - 06-02-14 They have quite a few for the Fazer on the Blueflame site, is it this one, the cheapest of them all? http://www.blueflameperformance.com/yamaha-fzs-600-fazer-evo-stainless-steel-oval-single-outlet Re: Which replacement end can??? - Chris - 07-02-14 Yep, that's the one I've got.
