IAM - maddog04 - 01-05-13 just passed, I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone. If you're thinking about Bikesafe just go one further and do IAM or ROSPA you won't regret it my group is Sefton IAM and they're a really good bunch Re: IAM - richfzs - 01-05-13 Congrats :thumbup I'm just waiting on my test date coming through.... Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2 Re: IAM - maddog04 - 01-05-13 good luck Rich, just remember that they put you in for it when they think you're ready so just ride as you have been and you'll be ok. my examiner was sound and gave me good advice before and after, don't speed is the biggy, even on motorways just drop back if you can't get past observation is key Re: IAM - Grahamm - 01-05-13 Bravo! :thumbup Re: IAM - Chris - 01-05-13 Well done mate 8) Don't stop learning though ![]() Chris Re: IAM - ghostbiker - 01-05-13 Grats, well worth doing IMHO Re: IAM - Skippernick - 01-05-13 Nice one mate. Re: IAM - maddog04 - 01-05-13 cheers everyone ![]() Re: IAM - MEM62 - 03-05-13 I was an associate member of a local group a while back. The observed runs were good fun and I got a lot from it. Unfortunately, in my case, I didn't reach test standard but it was still a worthwhile experience. Re: IAM - simonm - 03-05-13 Well done :-) Re: IAM - Tiberius Onklevaart - 03-05-13 Congratulations. Now, have you picked a particular flossy waistcoat or are you gonna get the flossy armour arrangement. I find the orange ones a bit garish if I'm honest, makes you look like a labourer. Having said that..... Um no Re: IAM - Grahamm - 03-05-13 (03-05-13, 05:08 PM)MEM62 link Wrote: I was an associate member of a local group a while back. Glad to hear you got something out of it even so. And you can always try again when you've got a bit more experience, that's why it's called Skills for Life ![]() Re: IAM - richfzs - 13-05-13 Passed my IAM test earlier this evening :woot 8) Re: IAM - ddtwelve - 13-05-13 hein-gerick flossy jackets and helmets to everyone :lol Re: IAM - DryRob - 13-05-13 I'm currently working through mine, I thought I was making fairly consistent progress but had a mare tonight. It's rewarding when I get it right though and seems to be making riding easier. Keep going DryRob, speaking as a sailing instructor i loved it when students "hit the wall" because from then on you knew they; A had the idea and B were about to make leaps and bounds. Re: IAM - Exupnut - 13-05-13 Well done rich. Its a V good achievement. I'll bet EVERY rider thats done the course can say its at least saved them from serious injury. And probably a few shekels on insurance. Im convinced. Now u can say "I think therefore I foccin Am" i hope an alcoholic beverage was consumed ;-) Re: IAM - ghostbiker - 13-05-13 Congrats, I know IAM's is not everybodys cup of tea but it is worthwhile doing.
