I fitted a 2010 R6 shock a few weeks ago and it seems a lot better, but, I don't seem to be able to adjust the rebound enough, I have carefully counted the clicks from all the way out to all the way in and even with it one click out it still does not seem to be controlling the rebound as I expected. I am used to a shock that you can "over" adjust ie, the seat rises too slowly , any comments please, Fraser
[color=rgb(51, 51, 51)]Hi everyone, hope you're enjoying this small window of nice weather were having in the uk at the moment. Anyway got a problem with the fazer all of a sudden I have no power, well I do but only to about 5000 rpm and 40 mph even though the throttle is wide open I've checked fuel pipes to see if they are kinked and all are good. I've don't no work on her to cause this apart from clean around the coil cover with WD40 where the wire goes into the engine that's it. Everytime I open the throttle it's like the choke is still on but It isn't. It's very strange. If anyone can shed some light on the matter it would be greatly appreciated. I have a few questions, I have fitted a new end can which sounds delightful however I'm looking to make it stand out a bit more without changing too much.
I have ordered a darker windscreen with red anodized bolts along with red rim tape, are there any other cosmetic mods (cheapish) which can sharpen the bike up. I was looking for some coloured bolts for the valve covers as they would stand out but haven't been able to track any down. I also find sometimes my Fazer struggles to shift into second gear and often hits neutral (I'm not being soft) Is this common?
I must say the fzs 600 is my fourth bike but the most powerful and can certainly hang around with the bigger bikes.
Went to box hill on Sunday and rode out in a large group consisting of Yamaha R6's, ZR1000, Yamaha R1, Kawasaki ZX10, GXSR 600's, so you can see mine was the least sporty but still kept up fine even on the straights and the tight bends when the power rangers decided to all try to get there knee's down :lol
After my ovine interaction last year which smashed my right peg hanger, I had to buy a replacement which I could only find in silver. Thought about powder coating it back to black, but also thought about rearsets as I'm a shallow bugger and always after an excuse to buy bling for my steed. I've bought quite a bit of Chinese copy parts, and not had any bad ones 'yet'.
Anyone tried these?
