| Exhaust Rattle and blowing + Maintenance course |

HI,
As the subject, my exhaust has been blowing slightly more than usual out the bottom out of the exhaust end can. I have an original exhaust and until recently have had no issues. I noticed whilst cleaning the winter crap of it that there was a bit of a grinding noise from the end of the end can (as it moved while cleaning it) and since then it;s been blowing and then this rattle appeared yesterday.
I'm very much a mechanical newbie (embarrassingly so) but I really don't want to pay a garage to fix it if it's something I can do myself. I've just had to pay out for some service work and if I'm honest I can't really afford to keep going back.
My questions are, 1) what is it likely to be? I think it's probably something to do with the joint between the end can and the pipe but don't really know what having never taken an exhaust apart before.
2) How likely is it I could repair it myself?
If anyone has any ideas, or happens to be near South West London and fancies having a look (cheeky, I know) I'd be really grateful.
Finally, does anyone know of a good general maintenance course worth taking for a newbie like myself? I'd like to think I'm pretty intelligent but I'll admit that my skills are currently not mechanical
Cheers
HJR

My 7 year old daughter is keen as mustard to get out on the bike with me. She's tall and reaches the pegs fine and I've got a small top box to give her security so I'm happy to take her out.
Does anyone have some kit I could borrow for her to try? (because as we know with kids, wanting to do somthing and actually enjoying it can sometimes be mutually exclusive).
Or, does anyone have any kit lying about where their child has outgrown it that I could perhaps purchase?
Cheers

| WANTED - Fazer 600 Link Pipe |

Hi Guys & Gals,
Ive got a nice dual outlet Carbon end can coming in the post.
But have just realised I need a link pipe (Flipping stock pipes with a built in link pipe- what a crazy idea!)
Has anyone got anything lurking that would do? I suspect a 2" link pipe is needed, but will need to check.
What have people got lurking in the sheds?
Cheers
Jon

Hi Guys and Girls.
Looking for some recommendations on some soft luggage.
Have been looking at some of the soft Givi panniers and the givi easylock tank bags. Not keen on having any framework, just want to be able to fix em on via the seat and bungees. Not too worried about size, as I have a yamaha 50L topbox already.
Any suggestions or reviews will be gratefully appreciated.
L&R

As in title, givi rack and 45l case for 600's, should fit all years (came off a '99 but mine is '02).
Looking to change for monolock panniers/top box as I'm looking towards a wingrack (maybe a deal to be done for anything lying around!)
£80 Ono + p&p if delivery is your thing.
