  16/45 Fuel consumption
Posted by: stevierst - 19-03-14, 11:01 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - No Replies

Have any gen II owners done the 16/45 sprockets and recorded the fuel mileage difference?
I'm considering it as it's been recommended by another site for cheap performance upgrade, but I'm not convinced that the fuel mileage isn't affected.

FOR SALE: Motad Venom end can (FZS600) [SOLD]
Posted by: ChristoT - 19-03-14, 07:45 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (12)

Evening all!

I'm biting the bullet, and putting up for sale my Motad Venom end can. This is the end can that Motad sell with their stainless steel pipes, and hence should be a good 'un! I can't comment on the sound, as I haven't been able to fit it to a running bike.

The can itself looks nearly brand new. No deep gouges, or dents, a few very minor surface scuffs (but you have to strain your eyes to see them!), apart from a light scuff on the underside of the link pipe - but again, this is nit picking.

The baffle is present, and held in with a Philips head screw. Although I'm guessing it will be removed the minute another Foccer gets it!!  :lol

This can is for a Fazer with the shorter pegs, so I cannot guarantee it will sit perfectly on a Fazer with longer pegs, but to play it safe, if required, I am happy to throw in a pair of shorter pegs FOC (How appropriate!!) It's ready to fit, bolts and all.

These cans are about £160 brand new. Due to the condition, I'd like £100 for it please.

Collection is preferable, but I'm happy to arrange postage (buyer's expense). I work near Cambridge, but will be in Andover Friday evening, and passing by London on Sunday (22nd of March). If you want me to bring it to London or Andover, please let me know NO LATER than 11pm tomorrow (20th) so I can pack it in the car.

  Rear hugger...
Posted by: davidkent - 19-03-14, 07:31 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (4)

As above..

Bought one for my 03 Foxeye, the seller informed me it was on an 03 Foxeye originally also.

Its arrived, and i've fitted it, however on the right hand side there was no mounting holes for it - I've actually had to use cable ties for the time being...

This can't be right surely, do the boxeyes have a slightly different fitting?

Thanks
