Hi everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has a speed sensor cable for my '51' plate Fazer, this is the second time it has gone...I am presuming it is the same problem as before hence why I am after a new cable.
Any offers / suggestions would be really appreciated!
Cheers,
Will

Went to take the bike to work today, wheeled it out of the garage, started her up, clutch in, 1st gear, all ok. Clutch out and nothing! Bike was running, but the clutch wasn't doing anything, it was like i had the clutch lever held in.
Parked it up and took the car, so no major drama.
During the week, i'd decided to adjust the clutch cable at the engine end, as i was almost out of adjustment at the lever. I took the sprocket cover off and had a look in there, and realised that was not the way to do it! Put the cover back on, founf the adjuster cover, popped that off. Slackened the nut, tightened the screw, backed it off a touch and tightened the nut.
Sounds simple enough, but could i have fugged something up along the way?

Hello Folks,
What's the earliest I can book an MOT?
People say one month but I've been looking at my MOT certificate and it says a month "to preserve the existing renewal date".
So can I book an MOT earlier than a month if I don't care about loosing a month or two on my MOT and having to go earlier next year? Or can't it be done sooner?
It's just that I want to remain flexible holiday wise and don't want an MOT due mid camping trip.
Thanks, Andy

My Fazer is up for sale at the moment (see "For sales & wanted" section.) It's many years since I sold a bike and once someone took my Aerial Golden Arrow for a test ride (that dates me! :lol ) which I found smashed up several weeks later at the back of a local bike shop :'( .
I would value suggestions as to what precautions I should take when (if) someone turns up to test ride it. Also how to have money transferred to my bank account - cheques can bounce!
Thanks.
David.

Morning all,
Advice needed on the best way to treat minor rust spots on the frame.
I've never dealt with them before, is it as simple as wire wooling the rust off and repainting with something like hammerite?
The spots aren't huge, a couple of patches around the front of the engine mounts, and also around the engine mount bolts on the side of the frame, so nothing too obvious. The bike lives outside under cover so want to deal with the rust before it takes over.
And while i'm at it, whats recommended to touch up the engine? Anyone found that secret product?
James

So I sorted my problem with the speedo and changed my oil and filter. Took the bike for a blast today and all going well. I stopped for 5 to text a mate and as I was stopped the revs occasionally would drop from 1000 down to 500ish stay there a little then go back up. It was doing this on and off. I've never noticed it before do you think it could be something simple like plugs? Or I've seen a lot of you guys talking about the TPS, could he related?
I took a video on my phone so if it'll help could post a link and upload it to YouTube.
Cheers.
