It's a bit strange really isn't it? I can pop her into neutral easy as pie once the engine is turned off, but with it running I cannot get her into neutral from 1st, I tend to stick her in 2nd and give her a tiny kick down.
I've got my clutch biting point pretty close to the bars, could this be the cause? Any other idea's?

Think my horn is on the way out, now not very loud and makes a dull parping sound. I've obviously warn it out honking at all the idiots out on the London roads....
Are there any common faults that are easy to remedy?
Anyone got a spare?
Are there any good upgrade recommendations (that don't cost the earth)?

Hi guys,
I installed a set of new EBC clutch plates last weekend, first proper ride out on the bike today and its slipping quite a bit under load. One of the steel plates had a little bluing on but nothing major.
The cable is adjusted to the correct tension at the lever 1cm of slack movement. And it bites and feels really positive on initial engagement but it slips like a b**ch at 5k and again at 9k.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Is there a section on this site where we can go for tech info about modifications folk have done to their Fazers ? If there is, I can't seem to find it.
It would be good to have a section where we can go to source info on common modifications like the R6 (or other) shock mods and R1 (or other) front end conversions with the relevant parts listed so its easier to source the correct model year parts and work involved for those thinking about performing such a modification.
I know there is a sticky in the Gen 1 section regarding the R6 shock mod but it would be nice to have all the info in one place.
Any info regarding any modification would be worthy of note from which brakepads work best through to different wheels, seats, handlebars etc etc.
Modifications regarding any model in the Fazer family should be welcomed. That way it would save using the useless 'search' function. I personally can never seem to find the info I am after using this method. However, I am particularly useless with computers.
