No they don't make a rack for the gen1 they came off an FZ6

Just as I thought, thanks. It's a shame they don't make a rack for them as I always thought it would help to make the gen 1 look more modern fully dressed for touring.

Agreed but I think the gen1 was out of production when the PLX system came out, they make a rack for the gen2

Yes - but for the older givi monokey panniers, not the PLX type (if you have a nose at the PLX panniers they kind of hug in around the exhausts)
