Filling up at the pump last night when a fellow fazer owner going to pay made a purposeful nod my way. I thought about shouting Foc u to him, but I didn't. Not sure he'd have understood

Lived around Gravesend most of my life, old enough to remember 2 way traffic outside Tesco !!!

Yes it is a shit hole now

but mainly because everyone says it but does nothing positive to change things. Even turning out for the many free things that the council put on would be a start. Some of those events are bloody good days/evenings out and are FREE

Tilbury has to be the pits surely, used to ship in and out of there many years ago (merchant navy) we were never allowed ashore unless there were at least 4 of us, the locals always fancied themselves as hard men. I remember we had a kid got the crap kicked out of him one night coming out of a chip shop not far from the dock gates. There is a or was a pub just facing it. Next night 20 odd of us went back drifted into the pub in ones and twos , kid points out who turned him over, shall we say they would not have been bothering anyone else for a spell.
In those days we looked out for our own.

Clubs got foreign owners now and they are spending some dosh so who knows a couple of years and we will be going back to Wembley!

hmmm, I live (have lived all my life) in Sittingbourne (Shittingbourne to some), so I can't comment

But I agree with the comments about it's now a shit hole but no one does anything to make it better. Anything that goes on in Sittingbourne is poorly attended too!

I miss the Fleet burger at Gravesend and Northfleet FC, what a burger!!!!!
