The bearing required are special sealed needle roller type and the Yamaha Part number is 93317-41761.
Go to this site http://shop.marksman-ind.com/ look them up as BHKM1730JU the dimensions are 17x24x30 SEALED, they are about a £12 each
When I changed my bearings a few years ago they supplied all all the bearing, but I had to buy the OEM collars as they were not doing the collars then. .
Great company to deal with and very helpful.
On a note about the tape on the headlights, I do not think that tester had a clue as to what he was doing. The tape on the headlights in a previous post in the picture is in the wrong place for the and wrong shape to stop dazzle from a Euro spec headlight..

You would think that the tape should at least be on the left side of each lamp as you are looking at it?
Not sure what's going on there, that's why i sounded a bit clueless earlier?  (it was nothing to do with the fact that i am clueless  )

I was waiting 4 to 5 days for the yam parts but ive just seen your info & they were 9 quid each plus ive paid 8 quid for courier to get them tommorow, all being well i might get my back on the road for meeting up with slim on sunday.

Even with the 8 quid delivery ive also saved £27 ching ching!!!!


Ive had a chat with the mechanic & he'll strip it down tomorrow, best case scenario he just replaces the 2 bearings but he concurs thatnthe sleeves might need replacing also so ill leave it with him.

They also do the bearing for where the shock attaches to the linkage.
