darwin Candidate biker
« on: 04 August 2013, 04:18:56 pm »
Out in the cage and had a bike (125 I reckon) behind me in a 40 zone.  Quite a busy area which then goes to 30.

Couldn't beleive it when he started texting!! Quite easy though as he wasn't wearing gloves....  Anyway, he made it through the town alive, all the way to where I live. Just before that, he was texting again - phone resting on middle of bars, head down. I gently (anything sharper else and there was a high chance he'd find out how hard the back of a saab is :) ) slowed from 40 to 30 for the limit change. When he looked up and found me a bit closer than last time he looked he got somewhat irrate. Various 'racing gestures' and shaking his head. Sorry sunshine, I know it's not the done thing for the yoof of today, but take some responsibility for yerself     :rolleyes

Slam on the brakes cos that small child looked like it was gonna run out into the road. Shame if it caused you whiplash when he hit you as well. :rollin

A load of bigger bikes behind him.... (not with him though). Wouldn't do it anyway, but don't think the thought didn't enter my mind ;)

I am gobsmacked  - what a complete and utter twat!

Sure it's hard enough to stay safe out there on 2 wheels with the muppets that don't even see us most of the time - at least if your in full control of the bike and ready to react you have some chance.

That's the best I've heard yet - Darwin winner 2013 for sure!

I shouldn't worry about it - natural selection means he probably won't make it that far anyway, cos naturally, he'll kill himself. Hopefully he won't take anyone else with him when he does.

Holy crap, if he does manage to kill himself (high probability here) then the silver lining is the hope that he hasn't had the chance to reproduce yet... god save mankind if he has already...

I was in Istanbull in 2009. On the motorway I passed a Honda CBF 150 with 2 guys on, both on their mobile phones. Neither with a helmet or any other protective clothing (not even long trousers  :eek ). In the same city I seen a guy riding a bike with a fag in his mouth searching his pockets for his lighter. Some people

Crazy, I just pray that when the inevitable does happen that he doesn't hurt anybody else.

Quite, any fool should know that if you smoke on a motorbike it's best to fit one of those car cigarette lighters - much easier to light at speed. :pokefun

Don't you remember being invincible at a young age?

The things I got up to on my ped, including smoking. I'm pretty sure I'd have been able to text as well :lol
