Just a quick question.

Does anyone know if the k&n oil filter is supposed to be shorter than than its OEM equivalent?

I believe it is a little shorter yes, why?

If it is it's probably 'cos there's more air flow, but they're a very snug fit around the top.

Just curious, I had one delivered today and it seemed short. Wanted to check that this was the norm.

So that's why my oil filter doesn't fit so well in my air box

think darrsi confusing k+n air and oil filters .....both excellent products,and yes the oil filter is shorter

ooooooo...dont fit the air filter in place of oil filter......thats going to be very messy
