My birthday SIMMI end can.
« on: 13 April 2013, 01:09:26 pm »
Well then, whilst everyone is falling out over trivia like politics & death, i've been focusing on the important things in life....like fazers.....& bling!!! 8)

So my missus got me a Simmi end can for my birthday, plus she put me through my test last year :eek ..she's a keeper alright...along the lines of the famous Heather (shouldnt Heather become the patron saint of fazers :lol )

After a bit of helpful advice from darrsi & jones the steam i finally got it on.

I went for the same size as the original,im young but old fashioned regards exhausts,i like a big set of cans ;)

I liked the gumpf about simmi & the reviews i have seen have been full of praise & it certainly looks & feels like quality.

Its pissin wi rain down here so ive only started it up in the garden but wow am i impressed with the sound even with the baffle still in,very sweet indeed.cant wait to go out for a blast.& here's a pic :D

I know this sounds a bit picky, but i always tighten those clips up with the bolts on the inside, out of sight to opportunist robbing bastards!  :)

Nice job!, I like the black look on a silver bike, mines a silver can on a black bike, I'll see if I can take a decent pic later, they do make a very nice noise with baffle in or not :D

Very nice, but a word from the misses (her who must be obeyed):

"can you please stop making my man envious with all the bling as its putting ideas into his small and fragile bonze"

Ha ha,it did cross my mind, not because of theft though coz down here is so safe but just for being tidy,i did see that both clips were pointing different directions but for the time being ill pretend it doesnt bother me :D

I remember when I first got my original Fazer which had the stock exhaust and I saw my instructor so had a chat and he compared its sound to a fart in a wind - the stock exhaust is pretty damn quiet so if you are used to it, your new one will certainly keep you grinning your face off for the next few months... and then you remove the baffle and it starts all over again :D

I like the belly pan & also that the yamaha decal vertically matches the yamaha on the tank :thumbup

Ye, I love my belly pan, there seem to be a few after market belly pans about but I think the one on mine is the nicest but I have no idea who makes it or if it was a factory option...

I'll get some pics up sometime but might be another few weeks before I can get it back on the road...  :'(

This thread is useless without SFX  :'(

I could attain sfx....get them on my ipad, but it'll be in my shed......

No wait stop the bus...shit i was almost gonna do that..but the neighbours 6 month old baby will be asleep no more than 8 metres from the shed.

If i get a recording tomorrow then how easy is it to get it from my ipad to yputube to foc-u,i best investigate, ive got the youtube app on the ipad but i dont think ive got an account & ive certainly never put owt on youtube before. :\
