Got half way through changing the clutch cable on my FZ6 this afternooon which should (supposedly) have been an easy job of an hour or so, but turned out to be a right PITA!
There's a stupid clip buried inside the frame that is very difficult to get to, so you need to take the airbox off to reach it.
Then I discover that the clutch cable has two metal sections (presumably to hold the bend in the right places or something) which are an absolute bastard to wiggle through the narrow gaps around the engine and, even worse, by the side of the engine and through the front of the frame to the clutch lever
By the time I *finally* got the old one out and the new one in place it was dark and I've only got a little hand-held fluorescent light to see by, so there was no way I could get the airbox back in place etc.
I'll have to finish it tomorrow...
