Went out for a gentle bimble... well, it was supposed to be gentle, but then my inner child got the better of me and for some reason the throttle stayed fairly wide open most of the way...

Only a quick outing and covered possibly 60 miles? Didn't really look, but was out for almost 2 hours so that seems about right

Cleaned and copper slipped the exup valve, replaced bolts with stainless and adjusted the cable. No more rattle.

SORN'd it today as I've had a letter from the DVLA.
Despite the fact that it's taxed and MOT'd but off the road while I tidy it up, they were going to fine me because it's not currently insured.

Oh well, my mistake, thought I wouldn't need to insure it until it was back on the road.

you can't have a bike taxed if it's not insured, because you (not you but a naughty boy) would ride a bike without insurance but wouldn't ride a bike without tax and insurance cos that would be very naughty and so it makes all the difference, like f**k

Went to Ladybower Dam via Mortimer Road, gave my suspension and arse a good workout

A ride over to Woods in Abergele to buy some waterproofs, then to Bylchau, Brenig, Cerrig, Bala for dinner by the lake. Home via Corwen, Bryneglwys, Llandegla. 106 miles.
