well ive had my first ride on the thou..
Rochdale to Cannock then up to Derby, Doncaster, York, Newcastle and finally back to the Scottish Borders.. Conditions were dry and warm and had a chance to test both day and night driving..
I must say Im impressed.. lovelely and responsive, handles great and was a lot comfier than the VFR.. I really like the upright riding position though the bars did take a little getting used to but luckilly I adapted quickly.. I was surprised how quiet it was though.. cant wait to get it up the Highlands on the twisties..
Only downsides I found was vibration on the mirrors.. Are there any cures for this? I do miss the V4 growl when you open it up.. the inline 4 of the fazer delivers the power well but just doesnt sing the same, it reminds me more of a turbine winding up.. I can live with that though..
Needing to get my hands on a rack though, wife wont go on it without her comfort backrest (topbox)
All in all, a wise move I think
