Help Please!
« on: 24 July 2012, 01:32:00 pm »
Hi guys,

I just uncovered the bike ready to ride in to the office and it won't start. The lights come on, the petrol gauge goes up and so on but it doesn't even prime the fuel pump and the starter button doesn't do a thing.

It was working fine last time I rode it (a week or two ago). I washed it when I came back from my last ride so I'm wondering if water could have got in somewhere it shouldn't and be causing a problem?

Any ideas anyone?

Scott

Have youi accidentally knocked the kill switch off?
Not being patronising, we've all done it once or twice.

Thanks Phil,

You were right (hangs head in shame).

I thought I had checked all the obvious things :-(

My sons mate couldn't get his bike started and we were all pushing it and trying to bump it. 10 minutes and i sweating like a fat bloke (i am) and i noticed the switch down, i could of lamped him, and then me for being a numpty. Like said earlier, we've all done it. Such a relief though.
