Just read this on Facebook.

Police have been stopping bikers warning them that there has been a black Suzuki 4x4 delibartely knocking people off their bikes, 4 so far today: Winchelsea, Ore, Hollington and Bexhill, one fatality.
PLEASE be careful out there.
If true, worth watching out for!!!

I've seen this and done some checking and I cannot find anything other than repeats of the warnings from Facebook on a couple of other forums, so it certainly sounds like a hoax to me.

Unfortunately too many people are willing to simply regurgitate such "warnings" without verifying them first. No doubt some idiot is chortling merrily to himself about how people are spreading his BS all over Facebook  :2guns

It appears to have a slight element of truth in as much as someone was side swiped off of a bike by a Black 4x4 vehicle.But where the rest of the  story has come from is anyones guess.Sounds more interesting put that way I guess.

 I have spoken to our Road Policing Unit and I can confirm that this is false and Sussex Police are not warning people of any such situation. Any such public warnings would always be broadcast on our website news service which you can access through www.sussex.police.uk
