Germany Accommodation
« on: 11 June 2012, 08:51:55 pm »
Looking to go a bit further than our usual trip to Luxembourg this year and we've been perusing some old issues of Bike magazine and decided to head down to the Baden Baden area and try out the B500 and surrounding roads.
Has anyone been there, know of any good accommodation in the area, or roads we should try?

All German accomodation is top quality in my experience. From B&Bs to hotels. Loads of bikers in Germany, so bikers are always well looked after.

If you fancy riding the Harz mountains I an reccommend this place.

The English owner Greg leads some terrific rides, following his lines is an education, the rides are mostly v fast. Some good restaurants and typical German bars with good beer choice nearby

Cheers for the replies, that pension roseneck looks good Phil but it's way off route for what we've already got booked, maybe next year,
Sadlonely how big is Oppenau, doesn't look too large on google maps, just need somewhere with a few bars and restaurants, nothing major.
