front forks

hi guys
will a set of forks from a 1998 fazer fit a 2000 model
the only difference i can see is the preload adjuster on the 2000 model

Exactly that, I have 98 forks on my 2000.
Never felt like the adjusters did anything anyway.
Don't forget the fork oil levels will be different without the adjusters, you'll need a bit more in them, as per manual.
