fzs fazer wont start

my 2005 fazer is running on two cylinders just removed the ais kit tapped the outlets plugged the airbox and carb fitted new plugs any suggestions thanks

As you've disturbed the plug caps I think it might be worth unscrewing them and trimming the HT leads by enough so that when you screw the plug caps back on they are going into fresh lead, the ends are known to deteriorate over time and not connect properly, so this could fix your problem.


If the two cylinders that are not firing are being fed by the same coil you might need to check / clean the connections etc.

might be worth checking if the plug leads are on the right plugs. easy to mix them up...

trimmed the  ends of leads are mentioned not sure if i have the leads on correct as you are sitting on the bike second cylinder from the left and forth from left not firing it looks like the shortest ht  leads go to the outside cylinders  not sure

my son turned up bmw car technician fixed in 2 mins apparantly left coil feeds one cylinder on each side and same right side would you believe it the technical term is wasted spark or something
