Headstock adjustment
« on: 02 June 2017, 02:05:49 pm »
I have the factory manual download and it's not clear to me how this is done. On my other bikes it was loosen lower fork clamp bolts then tighten up basically pulling the lower fork clamp up towards the top yoke.

Is it the same? Cos the manual isn't clear at all.

It looks like you have to remove the handle bars and the top yoke. Is that right?

Well Ive done it, was a piece of piss really.
On centre stand, jack up under the down pipes so front wheel just off floor.
Loosen off top yoke fork pinch bolts. Take top nut off, 27mm socket, remove lock washer, separate the two slotted nuts, tighten up the lower one a bit, reassemble and test.
