Site really slow

I've found the site slow all day. On my laptop I sometimes get Error503 and on my phone a message  along the lines of The Resource limit of this site has been reached. Whatever that means.

I agree it is painful. I am fortunate enough where I live as I have Virgin fibre optic BB, my Download speed runs at 160 Mbps & 12 Mbps Upload and even with that connection speed I end up just shutting down FOC-U as it sometimes can take a minute of two just to load a post or upload a comment.

Me too, it was freezing my phone up last night enough for me to give up, and it's still slow now even on the laptop.

Andy was looking at this yesterday. The hosts have moved the site to a different server apparently and it should all be good again soon.

Wow! Celtic you must be really, really old, things have moved on old timer we use half crowns now, this site is running so slow I thing their meter still take tanners or maybe bob bits.

Ah, It’s good to see the old coinage. I used to get thruppence a week pocket money… probably had as much buying power in the mid-sixties as our new 12-sided £1 coin does now.
Anyhow, the site appears to be off the Commodore PET that’s hosted it for the past couple of days, to judge by the improvement this morning.

Yeah i'm still getting that quite often as well, on the laptop and phone.
