Just wondering if anyone actually uses these?

I've never used one with any aftermarket exhaust but recently had a leak and just used exhaust paste which has done the job but it's not perfect. Just wondering if it's worth picking one up?  And if so will yhe standard one work with an akrapovic link pipe?

You won't get the Akrapovic link pipe on if you fit the link pipe gasket, it is only for the original one piece can and link pipe.
When I fit any exhaust pipes and cans I always use some exhaust paste, makes them easier to fit and helps seal the joint if there is any small mismatch between pipe inside and outside diameters.

Yeah I did wonder as it's a pretty tight fit as is, that's why I went with paste. Cheers Ian
