600 battery on a gen 1
« on: 06 December 2016, 03:12:00 pm »
its probably a daft question but .. I've just gone to have a quick blast out on the old girl and I've got a flat battery  :'( that's what you get for not using for 2weeks and having a datatool alarm .
Anyway I've got a fully charged 600 battery and while I don't want to use it to start the old girl (which I'm assuming it won't ) I don't want to leave my pride and joy at mercy of the thieving Essex oiks while I'm charging the thou battery for 8hour, Does anyone know if the 600 battery is ok to put on just to run the alarm ??

Fine for just the alarm. would have thought it would be fine for normal use too, just don't expect it to start a reluctant engine in the very cold....
is it clean enough?

Thanks bludclot
That's sort of what I was hoping / thinking , I'd better go and bolt it on before the feral fuckers that are commonly known as teenagers wake up from-their weed induced sleep and need to steal things to buy crisps and chocolate
