If we were to look in at West Bay around lunchtime, then quite a good way home would be north out of Bridport on the A3066, picking up the A30 just east of Crewkwerne. Then, Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Stockbridge, at the A303 petrol then depending on the time , either A30 to Camberley, south on A331 to A31, A3, M25 home, or if time's short M3 to Junct 4 from the A303 petrol stop to pick up the A331/A31/A3/M25 etc. Just a thought, I use this route when I do a Cornwall and back in a day trip.

Every time I look at the BBC weather, the forecast is different, I'm OK to leave the decision till Friday but understand if people have to make decision earlier.

OK Friday lunchtime decision it is then,

Just checked the BBC weather page again and the forecast has changed again, earlier it was light showers most of Saturday and none Sunday, now its showers around 10am only on Saturday and showers from 10am to 4pm Sunday

This freakin weather is getting me down. I was hoping to get away with a couple of pals last weekend. We cou;ld go where the sun was shining, west north or south to Northern France. Needless to say the forecast on the Thurs pm was showers everywhere so we aborted. Glad we did because it was torrential rain and storms everywhere.
