what throttle tubes fit (cam ) the fzs1000? does the R1 have same cam profile or are there others

Des, do you mean the throttle tube as in the twist grip on the handlebars?

Yes mate twist grip tube not the grip itself

From what I've read these fit

2001-2009 Yamaha FZS1000 FZ1
2004-2009 Yamaha FZS600 FZ6
1999-2009 Yamaha YZF-R1
2003-2009 Yamaha YZF-R6

So I'm on the look out for one
