Exup valve

Hi,FOCCERS HAS ANYONE GOT A SPARE EXUP VALVE FOR SALE,NOT THE MOTOR JUST THE METAL BUTTERFLY SORT OF THING,DONT KNOW WHAT ITS CALLED.THANKS FOR ANY HELP ANYONE CAN GIVE,CHEERS RAY

As no one has replied.... let me kick this off by asking the following -

1. why do you need/want a new exup valve?
2. if something is worn/broken/corroded - please post pictures.

These valves are quite rare s/h,  but there is good chance the valve can be repaired/fixed/refurbished.

Hi,Thanks For The Swift Reply It Wasn't For Me It Was For A Friend, I Asked Him Some Questions And He Describes It As A Major Rattle And  Presumes It's The  Xup Is Twisted Or Bent.

if it is twisted or bent I would guess that it wouldn't turn as it would be stuck tight!

id be looking for wear on the collars in the mounts or the very ends of the valve................. might just be dry and needs plenty of high temp copper grease!!!

i bought my bike with that noise on it too,under the tank on the right hand side there are 2 cables that can be adjusted to take up the slack that run down to the exup valve.i hope your lucky like me and it can be sorted without removing it.
