52mm Bell mouth supplier wanted
« on: 04 February 2016, 06:18:30 pm »
Have found plenty of trumpets for old Brit bikes but not much else. Found some beautifully machined ones in the states but dread to think what they'll cost shipped
Anyone know anyone this side of the pond selling them?

I think I'm right in saying that 52mm screw bell mouth are carb specific. Our carbs have a plain flange needing a clamp to retain the trumpet

1st advert for Amal carb with 52mm screw fitting, this is what I've been up against for past few days, one supplier said he would soon be stocking clamp on type although this wouldn't be until the end of March

May just dip my hand in my pocket and go for the one's from the US, price comparable to a set of K&N filters so not the end of the world
