hi has any one got exup valve to fit my gen 1 fazer 1000 cheers

What's wrong with the existing one? if its bent but not too bent it can be bent back - just use the soft mallet and a veriable speed drill technique.

Take it to a machine shop, have it built up or a bush made up to suit the wear

IMHO, getting a phosphor-bronze bush made up would only work if the wear on the shaft of the valve is even.

Ah yes, forgot about that. The only issue there is would they be able to re-harden the surface afterwards..? (assuming the ends aren't hardened all the way through)

Heat it well and let it cool in soot will harden it  :)
