Free online streaming for sport
« on: 26 August 2015, 11:43:55 am »
I don't have sky, BT or any other provider, tbh I don't even have terrestrial, just use my PC for all my entertainment. I use Cricfree for free streaming which gives me most of the racing etc but it doesn't always run very well and I find myself having to refresh the screen quite often.
Any other free sites worth looking at?

we just bought one of these.
you can get the GP races on it but not the best quality.
we use to have a virgin ? pack which had the BT gp race but they wanted an extra £3.
why should I pay that when I don't watch football or any other sport.
majority of the channels are either repeat or old programs.
so I cancelled the package and saved myself £28 thats a saving of £336 a year.
my son set it all up.
you can watch movies etc. all the stuff comes off the net just the same as the pc.

also you will need this mouse too.

you can get movies as well as sports amongst other things.
on the sports side picture quality isnt that great but watchable and its free.

Looks good
I brought a 40 inch finlux smart tv, and a desktop computer and a few bits and pieces. The tv only recived youtube and netflix but only really brought it as a monitor, besides, connecting straight to a pc makes it far smarter than many tv's costing 3 times the price I paid for everything.
Only problem of course is finding safe free sites to watch sport, films etc.
Which is where I started

I have a Droidsticks T8 box, very similar to the box shown earlier. I've not checked out the racing as I still see it on Virgin but I want to get rid of Virgin eventually. It has space for a memory card but I've not tried recording on it. My TiVo records everything at the moment as I can't watch live. I think this would be my biggest problem

I'll give this a try.
My T8 box is great but not perfect.  I mainly use it for TV shows, not tried sport but my lads watch the footy. I don't think it's good enough to get rid of my Tivo though
