260 MPH Speedo ?

My 2002 Fox eye has a 260 mph speedo, is this correct for this bike?

It will have been a KMH clock originally with a box of tricks to alter the needle position. Genuine UK models have KMH shown on the dial as smaller numbers and MPH in bigger numbers on the outside.
If you only have a single set of numbers, it sounds like you have either a replacement set of clocks on your bike from a European bike or your bike is a parallel import from Europe.

Same as mine, but has a MPH sticker over the KMH on the clocks. Does come in handy though to impress little kids who ask how fast it goes!
