It's a nice place, my trip organiser (fool) long distance lorry driver organised our first stop of our trip to Barcelona at Milau :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek
yes EEK, 850 miles in one go ,one day,,7 in the morning until 10 at night,,,now I check his itinerary :)

I have some pics somewhere, held the camera in my hand as were riding over the bridge. When you are on it, you don't know how big, high it is..there is a viewing point, stop off before you get onto the bridge,,there you get some idea of what it is..
AN awesome thingy, bridge,,,,it was on telly the other night,,wolrds top ten awesome bridges,,it came in as number one.

Well worth the trip , was there a few years ago.
Awesome sight at the tallest pillar looking up.
Head down into Milau and take the road west north of the river and you will pass the tallest pillar on your right.

Provisionally looking at around 1100 miles from Calais , that's down to Millau. And back plus whatever it is from where folk live  to the tunnel, as for cost the tunnel is £59 return at present on the dates listed , will be doing hotels or b&b but not expensive , route will be sorted soon but prefer to use non toll roads whenever pos , no more info at the moment

This is on my itinerary for my trip to the Bol D'or in Sept 16, everyone one I spoken to who has been there says how incredible it is.
